Hello Friends, I welcome you all to Dogward.com – I have founded this site to gather dog lovers from all over the world.
See the attached photo. This little fellow (now a 9 year old labrador) happens to be my pet Tuffy and I love him to death. He is the real inspiration behind this site. I remember once when he was just about three or four months old, he had developed a huge crush on a female dalmatian puppy who lived near my home. In the afternoon, my wife took him for a walk as usual and this fellow dragged my wife right to the neighbour’s place where this lovely female dalmation lived. She was right there at the verandah happily barking at my little hero who was only too happy to reciprocate. This love drama continued believe it nor for almost one hour fifteen minutes much to the amusement of passerbys who watched my wife trying her best (and failing miserably!) to make Tuffy move on but the fellow stood his ground and did not budge an inch (like a stubborn donkey!). Finally, exasperated and tired on that summer day, a nice slap did the trick and both Tuffy and my wife finally returned home. We still laugh when we think of those times. Keeping a dog is never an easy thing. The first six months are really tough. I invite you all to this site and make Dogward.com, a thriving dog community.
Tuffy left us at the age of 11 years and 11 months on Feb 10, 2018 leaving a big hole in our hearts!
